Episode 14

SUPANOVA
SUPANOVA pop-culture expo happened this year June 19-22. Guests were there like jared padeleki of the gilmore girls and Ben Templesmith, an artist for 30 days of night and . There was starwars shows and expos like how to make R2D2, Doctor Who and heaps more!
I saw a booth for the WACOM. Specifically the BAMBOO WACOM. I tried it out and I must say it was a fun experience for me. It would take some getting used to. On the cartoonist side, I saw the eegra team, the creator of zeera space pirate comics and there were cartoonists at the WACOM booth.
There were many stars there such as Jared Padeleki of The Gilmore Girls and Supernatural and Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek and more! There were sci-fi boothes like the maing of R2-D2 of Star Wars and also a Doctor Who fan booth.
In the centre of the place there was a huge wrestling ring and there were fights going on through the day.
There were many comics shops like Kings Comics and Game/DVD shops like JB hi-fi!
Over all this years one was a little more disappointing than last year as last year had more and better things, especially on the guest star side of things. This year was fun and good but last year was better.
I hope to get a couple of video’s and Photos to you all very soon!!!

SUPANOVA pop-culture expo is the only con I am able to attend right now. It is held once a year around australia. I am planning on trying to get interviews, photos and swag from there. Plus I will blog and podcast about it on here. So visit the website to see what will be happenning at http://www.supanova.com.au/
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Review!
Narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is the second book of the series Written by C.S. Lewis. While in a railway station, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are transported to A fantasy land called narnia. While there and after they have their weapons and tools, they find price Caspian who summoned them with a blow of a horn while he was in trouble. His uncle who plays a big and interesting part in the film along with the talmarines laid siege to narnia not too long after the kids left last time. With the help of all the old narnia creatures and Caspian the kids try to take back narnia. Will they succeed?
The movie was a great move on from the first one. It was exciting seeing all those characters back on the big screen. On the characters side, the older 2 seemed like big main characters as the other two didn’t. The younger two characters felt as if they were side characters with 50 % importance of what the older 2 had. Other big and important characters like Azlan or the Ice Queen had small cameos too.
There were good and spectacular battle scenes in the film. Though the whole thing of trying to beat the bad guys took a long time. There are about 2 or 3 battles during the film. In the second battle the good guys use wonderful techniques and great skills to beat and take down the baddies. It was interesting how they did it in the end but it felt like it took too long after all.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a good film for regular film viewers but if you have seen the first one you could get more out of it and even more if you have read the books as there are a lot of references to the first film. I saw the first narnia film which as ok. I have not read the books though so I would have a little more understanding of what is going on but not as much as someone who has read the books.
I feel this movie gets a 7/10. A good experience for anyone!
